Leading Edge Consulting provides exceptional expert consulting services for motor carriers and firms representing motor carrier accidents. Clay Merches has over 20 years experience  improving all segments of the organization including safety and human resources, operations and maintenance. He has proven results working with all fleet sizes from 20 trucks to over 4,000.

With a unique and proactive perspective, Clay is able to achieve significant reductions in crash frequency and severity, reduced CSA violations and upgraded or improved safety ratings. He has saved companies millions in expense. He has the expertise to reduce expense and improve motor carrier profits with an intimate knowledge of Safety, Human Resources, Brokerage, Operations, and Maintenance.

Clay received his B.S. degree from Harding University with an emphasis in business law.  He continued his education at Harding and received his M.B.A with an emphasis in leadership and management.  Later he earned his C.D.S. through the North American Transportation Management Institute.  He continues to be a mentor for other safety professionals that want to further their knowledge in safety and management.
